Ringing in 2011 in Carytown

December 27th, 2010

Now that we have all survived the holidays, you’re probably tired of eating leftovers and ready for a night out on the town. Might we suggest checking out Carytown for your New Year’s celebration?

The New Year’s celebration in Carytown is sure to pull in a crowd with all its wonderful restaurants and bars. This year, the Carytown community invites you to experience the wide variety of restaurants located along the mile long stretch. Why not create your very own restaurant crawl experiencing some of the thirty restaurants located in the Carytown, as you work your way over towards the Byrd Theater at Midnight?

Many of the restaurants will be offering special menus and events for this very festive evening. Special menus are available at Amici Ristorante an upscale authentic Italian dinning experience, Amour Wine Bistro pairing every course with the perfect wine; Bonvenu is located right across from the Byrd with a perfect view of the sparkling ball; and also Secco Wine Bar with an extensive selection of unique wines and beers. We suggest calling ahead for reservations. No matter which ever restaurant you choose, you won’t be disappointed.

The illuminated ball that sits atop the Byrd Theater, created by Todd Schall-Vess, manager of the Byrd Theater, will rise to ring in 2011 as the crowd counts down. Here’s hoping you are there to ring in the New Year with the rest of Richmond.

Hope to see you on our guest list in 2011!
