Best of 2010 Mansion Weddings: Sarah and Doug

January 3rd, 2011

This past 2010 held many memorable weddings and this month, we’re taking a look back at some of our favorite moments. Today, we’re starting off with Sarah and Doug, with images provided by Nick Kessler of Nick Kessler Photography.

We asked our fabulous Wedding Planner Mary-Catherine Berry to share a little insight about this couple’s special day–

“Sarah and Doug took a clean and fresh twist on old southern charm.  They combined their love of Tennessee and the colors of Fall and it was a perfect marriage! The reception was mostly white, with punches of bright orange in the napkins and bengaline chair ties.  Hanging mason jars with votives were a classic touch. The cake, made by a friend of the family’s, echoed the delicate details of Sarah’s dress.  Even with all of these beautiful details, the most touching and memorable moment for me was the walk of grandmother, mother and daughter down the aisle.  It was hard to find a dry eye in the group.”
