Best of 2010 Mansion Weddings: Cari and Chad

January 10th, 2011

As you may already know, we’re featuring some of the most memorable weddings of 2010. Today, we’re showcasing images courtesy of Nick Kessler Photography of Cari and Chad’s wedding last Fall.

Our Wedding Planner Mary-Catherine Berry was happy to lend a little more insight into this lovely day:

“Cari and Chad were the ultimate do-it-yourself couple!  Despite the time demands of being a mom, Cari made each of her guest table centerpieces.  They consisted of bare limbed branches in ceramic pots with a blanket of green moss. These mini trees were then draped in crystal strands to catch the light of the hanging votives.  This made a dramatic effect in the grand pavilion tent.  The tables were covered in a silvery grey pintuck linen and eggplant napkins were folded to lay off the table.  Their reception was modern and the rich, dark hues lent an air of formality.  Of course, Cari kept it cool by wearing aqua Converse’s under her form fitting gown!”
