Celebration of the Vine Wine Festival

March 28th, 2011

Spring is upon us and the outdoor festivals are kicking off the season. Celebration of the Vine Wine Festival is a great way to get your feet wet with Virginia Wine and some outdoor fun.

Celebration of the Vine Wine Festival will bring wine enthusiasts from near and far on Saturday, April 16. The wine starts flowing at 11am (hey its five o’clock somewhere!) and won’t stop flowing till 6pm in the evening. The event will take place in Chesterfield County at the County’s Government Complex. Seventeen different wineries will bring their best reserve for the tasting and purchasing. Craft vendors will make sure you get your adorable hand painted wine glass. Food will be available from Gregory’s Grill, King’s Korner, and Strawberry Street Café. Local favorites Casper and Spillsheet will keep you on your toes and dancing.

Tickets are already on sale and are available on their website for $20 per taster and only $10 for a non-taster. Your ticket price includes entry into the event and also a Celebration of the Vine wine glass to use for your abundant tasting opportunities. Tickets are also available at the event, so don’t worry if you don’t plan ahead.  They do, however, increase from to $25 for a taster and $12 for a non-taster. Please remember to bring your ID with you; we wouldn’t want you missing out on all the fun. See you there!
