Best of 2011: Anne-Marie and Adrian!
February 8th, 2012Today, we’re back with our Best of 2011 series, where we get to revisit some of our favorite weddings from last season. Today, we’re thrilled to share the wedding of Ann-Marie and Adrian!
As Ann-Marie told us-
Where do we begin? We can start by saying ‘thank you” from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did to make our wedding day absolutely the best day of our lives. The memories will last a lifetime and trying to describe how we feel just doesn’t seem like enough. This was our first and only venue we visited and we fell deeply in love with it. We came back to tour again just to be sure we did not have tunnel vision. We wanted to share several of the comments from our friends and family to help us describe our wedding experience:
“most beautiful wedding ever, first class, a fairytale, just amazing, truly awesome, perfect, beautiful, classy, elegant, exquisite, so very special, the food was delicious, the property just pulled it all in, breathtaking, very romantic, we are still talking about your wedding, our rooms took us back to a simpler time, and one for Martin, he’s trying to kill us (we danced all night)”
It was the perfect wedding weekend thanks to all the hard work of Mary-Catherine, Whitney, Mona, Michael, Paula and Martin. From start to finish of our wedding day was just amazing. I am honored to say, “I’m a Historic Mankin Bride!”
Now remember-this year’s blog series is going to be a bit different as each wedding will be featured on the Historic Mankin Mansion Blog and the top three posts with the most blog and Facebook comments will be selected as finalists. Each wedding will receive one more feature and the one with the most Facebook and blog comments by the deadline will be the winner! This year, we’re taking it up a notch as we will be hosting a contest along with it for a complimentary overnight room stay at the Mansion, as well as a gift certificate to one of Paula and Martin’s favorite restaurants in town.

I did not attend the wedding but I saw the many gorgeous pictures. It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen!! Everything was top notch! And they are so incredibly happy!

Burt and Ann Marie are my favorite people, so when the wedding festivities took place it was the icing on top of the cake. There are no words that can describe how beautiful and well managed the entire wedding was. As a bridesmaid, I loved the way we were instructed and cared for the entire time. You all made not only Burt and Ann Marie feel special but you made everyone in attendance feel special as well. It was a fairytale wedding, and I’m so glad I was a part of it. It’s one of those events you wish you can relive!! You guys are awesome!!!

I loved this wedding for many reasons. First of all two wonderful friends got married. Secondly it was at such a beautiful location. As you can see the pictures of the Historic Mankin Mansion are breathe taking and you could not have asked for a better. The setting was spectacular. I will keep this location in mind when I am in need of planning an event!

It was truly a fabulous wedding! The bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome and they looked so much in love. It was all brought together by the wonderful setting and facilities. It makes you want to create an excuse for a party……Thanks to Ann Marie and Burt for finding Historic Mankin Mansion!
I say they need to renew their vows there in about another year so we can do it all over again.

What a beautiful venue, it’s the perfect spot for a wedding. The rose petals on the walkway, the elegant table settings it would be any bride’s dream. The Mankin Mansion staff seems to have brought everything together for a perfect wedding day for Ann Marie & Adrian.

The Mansion was everything that you could dream a Mansion to be. The service was spectacular. The staff was outstanding. The decoration was first class (not too much – just right). The food and the manner inwhich we were served was just awwwwwwwwww. Thank you for making my son’s and daughter-in-law’s day so special. I’ll never forget it and ofter think of it.

This was one of the Best Weddings we have ever attended. The food was great and and the Place was absoultely beautiful. The perfect place for a wedding. We could not think of anything that would have made it any better.

I want to say how truly honored I was to share AnnMarie and Burts special day with them. The Mansion is a beautiful place to have a wedding:) All of the people there were friendly and professional. I don’t think I ever danced that much at any other wedding I have attended. Everything was perfect!!!!!!

Annmarie and Burt’s wedding was fabulous ! They are both a wonderful couple.
Their wedding had just about everything and it was a day the family and friends will always remember.
Annmarie & Burt have been together for 10 years before they decided to finally tie the knot. These 2 have been through it all, the bad and the good.
They both have each others back no matter what! Thats what I love about them both. I hope they win because they deserve it for their kind hearts
they have for everyone before themselves. Love you guy’s!

Absolutely a beautiful wedding. I wouldn’t have traded being a part of their day ever. The venue was amazing, the weather was great and the people were wonderful as well. Felt very welcome and comfortable while staying at the Mansion!!! Love you Ann Marie and Burt (Adrian) xoxo

Had the The time of my life. The venue was awesome. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. From the valet to the servers. It was a real fairy tale wedding!

I have been waiting for this wedding for a looong time and I can say it was worth the wait! It was wonderful to see one of my dearest friends have a dream wedding which she is so deserving of! Everything was so wonderful and perfect….my husband and I fell even more in love that night ourselves!! I love looking at the pictures and reliving the day!

An amazing wedding for an amazing couple! I didn’t attend the wedding but I have seen gorgeous pictures of what appears to be an absolutely gorgeous day. This couple is blessed and so very happy. This is truly a memory that will last a lifetime~

When a beautiful couple get married in a lovely settings the result is a gorgeous weddings.
Has been a fabulous day, and has been a pleasure to attend, and share that moment in the life of two special people like AnnMarie and Burt. The Mansion is such a charming place….could have not been better.
