Today, we are thrilled to announce that we have been selected to be a part of this year’s Aisle A awards presented by Richmond magazine !

We were honored as one of the top farewell brunch locations, rehearsal dinner locations, wedding DJ’s, reception location for a small wedding, place to overnight on your wedding night, place to hold your bridal shower and outdoor wedding site.

If that wasn’t lovely enough, we’re delighted to share that we won the top spot as most beautiful ceremony site in Richmond, as well as the top offbeat ceremony/reception site.

As always, we couldn’t do it without the support of our clients, friends and colleagues. Our sincerest congrats as well to the other winners!

See You Soon,

~Paula & Martin Ramirez

Baby Day at the Mansion!

May 22nd, 2013

Those who have been to the Mansion as of late are already aware that we’ve had a bit of a “baby epidemic” on our hands in the last year as we welcome four adorable babies to the Mansion family. Believe it or not, three of them were actually born this past Spring and we just couldn’t be more thrilled for the moms.

This past week, we welcome all of the kiddos to the Mansion for an afternoon of.. well, snuggling! We also had the chance to take a bunch of photos to capture this fun day- can you believe we actually have a few with all of the little ones looking in the general direction of the camera? :) For more too cute to pass up photos, please click HERE.

We couldn’t be more thrilled for Marylee, Jocelene, Gina and Meghan- and we’re excited to host all of their weddings around 2043 or so! :)

See You Soon,

Real Richmond Wedding: Katie and David!

July 4th, 2012

We here at the Mansion love a wedding full of whimsical details and love and Katie and David’s wedding had just that!

We knew this wedding was sure to be a show stopper when the bride told us her colors would be orange and blue. They incorporated the color combination throughout the wedding with little touches with the bride’s shoes, bowties, and place.

Grant and Deb Photographers captured the day of festivities check out their beautiful work below and also on their blog.

We would like to thank the couple for allowing us to be a part of their big day as well as Grant and Deb Photographers for sharing these gorgeous images!

Happy Birthday to Us!

April 3rd, 2012

It seems hard to believe that just eight years ago yesterday, we officially made Historic Mankin Mansion our home. It was in near ruins when we first laid eyes on the property and what a memorable time it has been to bring it back to life, to its original splendor. In fact, some guests say they even still feel the love we have for the Mansion when they are here. :)

This week, we look fondly back on the journey that brought us here.  Thank you to each and every one of you who have supported and encouraged us along the way. Cheers to eight fabulous years, and the amazing road ahead of us. We look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you.

See You Soon,

Well Wishes to a Friend

November 18th, 2011

There are people who keep you inspired, those that keep you in stitches and others that make you feel like you’re the only person in the room. And there was our wedding planner Mary-Catherine, who managed to do all three.

Those who know her will not be surprised that it was love at first sight.  We loved her sass and the way our brides would light up when she sauntered into a room with her sky high heels and  clipboard.  So when she came to us with news of her new, exciting position, we were not surprised that someone else also saw that undeniable spark.

We are thrilled for the wedding planning team we’ve assembled for 2012, but for today, would like to wish Mary-Catherine well as she takes on her next big adventure.

In the words of Balzac, “May you be happy always.”
