We really love two things at the Mansion: great food and a fabulous glass of wine. The opportunity to do through in a mile of style and we say, sign us up please ! This week’s “must do” event is a fun filled afternoon of great good, local Virginia wine and the most unique shopping in the area.
The Food and Wine Festival entitled “A Taste of Carytown” is scheduled for Sunday, October 9, starting at 12pm continuing till 6pm. The festival will be located in the Cary Court Shopping Center, located right in the middle of Carytown. Local Virginia Wineries will be in attendance with their award winning wines for tasting while local Carytown restaurants will serve small plates of their best dishes. Participating restaurants include: Ginger Thai, Mezzanine, Nacho Mama’s, Amici Ristorante, Weezie’s Kitchen and Amour Wine Bistro, with flavors from exotic to traditional there is something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.
Tickets are available for purchase at local Carytown stores and also online for $15, and can also be purchased at the gate for $20. Your ticket includes your entrance to the event, a souvenir wine glass, wine tasting and delicious food. A designated driver ticket is just $10 and can only be purchased at the gate, which included unlimited soft drinks! Be sure to enjoy the wonderful unique shopping experience that is exclusive to Carytown. During the event you are welcome to leave the festival area at anytime and return throughout the evening.
