Groomsmen: Tokens of Appreciation

September 29th, 2014

Figuring out what to get your soon-to-be husband’s groomsmen might seem a little tricky at first. And while they are probably more excited about having a role in your wedding than receiving a gift, that doesn’t mean you are off the hook! These tokens of appreciation don’t have to be elaborate, but simply a kind gesture to let them know you care.

Looking for a little inspiration? Well we find that groomsmen tend to fall into one of the following categories so we’ve paired each with some of our favorite gifts to date:

The “Indiana Jones”

For a groomsman who tends to be adventurous, a personalized pocket knife would do the trick. You can add his initials to it or simply have his first name engraved on the side.

The “Socializer”

As for a groomsman who enjoys socializing and being with friends, there are celebratory options such as flasks, corkscrews, or high-quality cigars.

The “Businessman”

For a groomsman who is all business, consider a gift such as a tie clip, personalized wooden shoehorn, or elegant cufflinks. A man like this most likely cherishes functionally and practicality.

Here’s another helpful hint: If a groomsman has a significant other, try asking his partner for some ideas. Sometimes it’s wonderful to bounce your ideas off other people…especially if you find yourself stressing over an idea!

Whatever you decide, we have complete confidence it will be a hit…Happy Wedding Day to you all!
